Your right to a hearing
If you applied through HealthCare.gov
If you do not agree with a decision made by the Health Insurance Marketplace (www.HealthCare.gov), you may be able to file an appeal. Learn more about filing an appeal at the Health Insurance Marketplace.
If you applied using Oregon's application (through the Oregon Health Authority)
You have the right to challenge the Oregon Health Authority’s decision by requesting a hearing. Hearings are held by the Office of Administrative Hearings, which is independent from the Oregon Health Authority. If you want a hearing, you must request it on time.
You can also talk with a manager by calling 800-699-9075 (toll-free). Your deadline date to request a hearing does not change even if you are in contact with a manager or are trying to reach one. If you still need help, contact the Governor's Advocacy Office at 800-442-5238 (toll-free).
